About Me

Edendale, Southland, New Zealand
Hello! We are Room Kea from Edendale Primary School Southland. Currently we have 15 wonderful children in our class. We are the school where children take what they think is impossible and make it possible, where children see what wonderful potential they have and begin setting big goals for their lives. To achieve this at Edendale Primary School our children will be...... confident, connected, actively involved, lifelong learners.

Week 10 news..

                                                                             Week 10!
Welcome to week ten.
My apologies for last week becoming a bit messy.  I ended up in Dunedin hospital Monday night through to Wednesday supporting my family as my Gran became very unwell suddenly. Thank you to those who came in on Thursday to offer words of support. Your children we so lovely, well done for raising such caring kids!

You may have read in the school newsletter that I will not be teaching at Edendale School in 2013 L. I am currently going through the process to become an Au pair (nanny) in America. I will be very sad to leave such a great school and community behind as have learnt a lot over the past few years; I am looking forward to new challenges and experiences that New York has to bring.

This week-
·         Alice Holland is in today.
·         Senior production 1:30 and 7pm Wednesday 19th. Room Kea will be attending the 1:30 session. HOW EXCITING!
·         Tennis on Tuesday. Wear suitable shoes please. ( weather dependent)
·         We have two new children starting school visits this week. Talk to your child about how they can be a good leader by showing our visitors how we learn well in Room Kea.

Have a great week!
Abby de Groot
